Community Hall - Vardre Road
Back by popular demand and featuring village idiots as well as those who can sing and dance, this promises to be a night of side-splitting entertainment. £3 per adult - £1 per child (under 16)
Sunday 21st April 2019
The easter egg hunt retunrs for the second year running. Sweets and prizes for all at Coedgwilym park. No registration needed - just turn up. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Saturday 27th July 2019
Village Green - Waverley Park Road
This is, as always a great family day out. With fair ground rides, a dog show, emergency services, live music, craft stalls, a range of food stalls, and a bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks. Starting at 12, this event finishes at 11pm.
Saturday 2nd November 2019
Clydach Cricket Club
Probably (Definitely) the best firework display in the Swansea Valley. Gates open at 5pm so the children can go on the fair rides. Display starts at 7pm prompt. No entry fee but donations taken at the gate for the Community Fund.

Sunday 10th November
St Mary's Church
Always a sombre and touching day, the whole community comes together for a parade down the high street to St Mary's Church. Please be seated by 10:20 for the service. A second service then takes place at the War Memorial Hospital on Quarr Road.
Serving members of the armed forces and veterans are welcome to join the parade, as are organised groups.
Saturday 7th December 2019
Forge Fach to Vardre Road
Ho Ho Ho !! The Christmas Parade will start at Forge Fach car park on Hebron Road, where each child can collect a lantern to carry. The parade will leave the car park at 5pm and move along high street, then up Vardre Road to the community hall where each child will have a free selection box from santa in his grotto.

The Council ensures flowers are placed throughout the village throughout the year
At Christmas, the Council erect Christmas trees above the High Street shop facades to ensure a festive feel to the village.
The Council raise the Welsh and Saint David flags along the High Street each year in time for the St. David's Day celebrations and the Six Nations Rugby.
The Council works with the charity Cariad to install defibrillators throughout the village. To date, we've placed some at:
- Forge Fach Centre, Hebron Rd
- SPAR on the High Street
- Chapel Buildings (Mond Square)
- Clydach Community Hall, Vardre Rd
- Sunnybank Newsagents, Lone Rd.
The Council is working with the County Council to clear the village of litter and ensure that the streets are cleaned.
The Council maintains the play park near Forge Fach Centre. Swansea County Council looks after other village parks.
