If you provide a food collection or delivery service, a local grocery shop that can help in any way by taking payments over the phone etc, then please register your business with Swansea using the button below:
Keep it Local is a new website that contains information on local businesses, including their ability to deliver or collect.
If you are elderly and vulnerable and do not have friends, family or neighbours who can collect your groceries, you can call the Co-op Care Line on 03300 417784. This is managed by local Co-op staff. Please be understanding of any delay and try and plan ahead with your grocery shopping.
Swansea Council are collating a list of businesses within the Swansea area that can take your order for fresh food online or by phone. Some deliver and some need collection. Click on the link below to view the list. This list is constantly changing so please check regularly for updates.
Click on the button below to download a pricelist from Andrew's chilled foods.
This list is always changing as things are added so please check back regularly.
If you have received an NHS letter, stating you may be entitled to support with food, then ring 01792 636000 and a member of staff will complete a referral form with you. You can also ring this number if you are in a food crisis and need urgent support. This number may also be able to give advice on how you could be entitled to vouchers for the local foodbank at Ty Croeso on High Street.
Our local food bank in Clydach is Ty Croeso. Ty Croeso is open every Tuesday between 10am and 12pm. You can drop items of food to them during their opening hours or there is a collection point at the Co-op store in Clydach. The foodbank is particularly short of tinned food and UHT milk, but are of course grateful for all donations.
