OUR STAFF

Clerk to the Council / Responsible Financial Officer / Proper Officer

 

  • Organising council meetings and preparing agendas and minutes
     
  • Providing legal and procedural advice to councillors
     
  • Managing council records, finances, and correspondence
     
  • Ensuring transparency and compliance with local government regulations
     
  • Acting as a point of contact between the council and the public

Assistant Clerk to the Council

  • Helping to prepare reports, minutes & agendas for council meetings
     
  • Assisting with correspondence, records and filing


  • Supporting Financial Documents and data entry
     
  • Standing in for the clerk when required
     
  • Supporting with local events


Admin Assistant

 

  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and public enquiries
     
  • Assisting with document preparation and data entry
     
  • Maintaining filing systems and council records
     
  • Supporting event planning and meeting arrangements
     
  • Providing general office support to the clerk and councillors

Caretaker / Maintenance

 

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
     
  • Ensuring public spaces, halls, and grounds are clean and safe
     
  • Opening and securing buildings for events or regular use
     
  • Monitoring and reporting any damage or issues
     
  • Supporting community events with setup and takedown
